As part of the Enterprise Application Services (EAS), Continual Service Improvement (CSI) organization this role will have the responsibility for a wide range of activities focused on risk mitigation, audit engagement and corrective action/issue resolution.  This role will implement processes or improvements in the management of these key areas, including ensuring their successful delivery.  They will need to work closely with senior leadership across both the EAS organization and the risk organization.  This position will be key to creating efficiencies that will enable the organization to improve the identification and management of operational risk.  

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  •  Document, enforce, enhance and communicate an EAS process to self-assess and identify risk in partnership with the risk organization to enable effective risk management. 
  •  Drive identified risks to the appropriate solution path and ownership.
  •  Manage solutions to effectively close risks in a timely fashion.
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships across the EAS leadership team and the risk organization.
  •  Document, enforce, enhance and communicate an EAS process to enable more efficient audit assessments.
  •  Translate complex, technical concepts so that they are clearly understood by all audiences in support of sound decisions to meet risk objectives.
  •  Ensure solutions include technology perspective that meets strategic technology goals, leveraging proven industry standards to address risk.  
  •  Monitor and report on remediation plans and progress.
  •  Concise, effective communication with both executive level leadership and line management levels, both verbally and in writing  
  •  Assess opportunities to create efficiencies for current risk controls and processes including automation.  
  •  Familiarity with control and process automation.

  •  Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver results in less defined and constantly changing environments
  •  Self-starter who proactively seeks out knowledge to attain expertise in new fields or responsibilities
  •  Proven strength in building high organizational awareness, autonomously navigating an organization, and engaging key stakeholders
  •  Effective at building relationships and partnerships to achieve risk goals and avoid any 'us vs. them' perception from line managers
  •  Highly analytical; comfortable with seeking out and analyzing all levels of detail
  •  Experience in strategy, process, planning, and/or business reporting for senior audience
  •  Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution 
  •  Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment 

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts
  • 3+ years of process definition and documentation experience
  • 5+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
  • 3+ years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • 1+ year of risk management and mitigation experience
  • Strong relationship development skills
  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
  • Experience with technology related regulatory requirements and frameworks including: FFIEC, COBIT, COSO, NIST, ITIL

Other Desired Qualifications
  •  Experience with Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as policies, control standards and risk management concepts
  •  Familiarity with one or more of the following: Application Maintenance Calendaring Tool (AMCT), iTracker, Qualys, Policy Exception Management System (PEMS)
