Job Description Summary 

 

Leviat is seeking a highly motivated and qualified applicant to fill the unique position of a CDL truck driver. This full-time position is responsible for product/equipment delivery and returns to Leviat locations and Leviat customers. Primarily, this position moves box trucks up to 26’ and tractors and trailer movement. This position may also aid the shipping and receiving department to deliver parts and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of Leviat location or customer locations


• Perform pre and post trip inspections as required by company and federal regulations 


• Understand and adhere to regulations regarding load securement  


• Unload materials at job sites using forklift  


• Keep logbook up to date at all times  


• Inspect site to ensure safe environment to unload and communicate potential onsite hazards to management  


• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed 

Required Skills

• Valid Class B CDL required, Class A CDL preferred 


• Valid Medical Card 


• Clean MVR 


• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members 


• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
