This position is within the Investment and Pension Solutions (IPS) – Structured Settlements Team. IPS is an organization within Retirement made up of Structured Settlements, Pension Risk Transfer, International Reinsurance, Stable Value, and Contracts.
Primary responsibilities include:
Execute on complex policy administration tasks for factoring work that includes: processing transfer stipulations and petitions, reviewing court orders, splitting of assigned payment streams, and complex research
Requires independent engagement with outside legal counsel
Death Claim processing
Process contract maintenance on in-force contracts. Requests typically include but are not limited to beneficiary changes, banking and address changes, BPC call referrals, guardianship petitions, child support agreements, garnishments, subpoenas
Respond to broker and case manager inquiries in a timely manner
Handle Unlocated Annuitants/APO processes
Provide Suspense reconciliation and reporting
Respond to NAIC inquiries and other ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience; structured settlements knowledge considered a strong plus
Customer Focused - understands the importance of maintaining our customer base
Must possess excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently or collaborate as part of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to adjust priorities to meet changing business needs
Proficient with Microsoft Office (MSWord and Excel)
Based on work volumes overtime may be required
