What you will do

We are hiring a Financial Lead for the aftermarket parts service within the applied products business unit to support our main and peripheral hubs and distribution centers in North America. This individual will act as the business partner to our VP Aftermarket parts and will be spear-heading the financial quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting and outlook processes along with full responsibility on the P&L and trade working capital actual results.  S/he will provide support to the extended staff of our parts VP including preparing financial presentations, ad hoc and variance financial analysis, channel profitability analysis, strategic plans, transformation Financials and other projects requested. This individual acts as the analytical engine to provide insights and supports “optimal” business decision making as well as the link to broader applied business Finance imperatives.

How you will do it


  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, TWC and capital expenditures

  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, providing insights and decision making support to the business

  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting and Modeling tools.

  • Drive the financial quarterly and monthly forecast (flash), annual budget and outlook processes

  • Implement and work with Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports

  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies

  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

  • Supporting Senior Management Team with in-depth analysis

  • Prepare presentations to the Senior leadership team within Parts

  • Ensure all Applied Finance reporting and deliverables are met timely and accurately

  • Coordinate all of our OTC efforts with the regional collections group and the business to minimize past dues ensuring root cause issues are properly addressed by the Collections group. Lead all trade working capital initiatives and reporting. 

  • Act as first escalation point for issues that don’t get resolved between Finance regional support teams and business functions

  • Act as intermediary for close cooperation and effective communication between the business and record to report intercompany and accounting groups driving proper allocation of activities and responsibilities per agreed taxonomies and SLAs with our regional business centers

What we look for


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance.

  • Strong customer and business orientation and desire to develop business acumen

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase knowledge highly required.

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.

  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and preferably previous interactions with senior leadership, ability to influence across the organization and work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English and additional language an advantage
