Corporate Purchasing Assistant at Precision Countertops in Wilsonville, Oregon

Job Description:

Precision Countertops is the largest custom countertop manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest.  With over thirty years of experience manufacturing and installing countertops, we have thousands of satisfied customers. We are currently recruiting for an entry level Corporate Purchasing Assistant in our Wilsonville, OR facility. This position requires both physical abilities as well as computer skills. There will be exposure to heat and cold as you work within shops moving, receiving and inventorying product. Some travel may be required.

 Duties and responsibilities:

• Purchase materials using Stone Profit Systems


• Job updates within Moraware (industry job tracking software)


• Awareness of all supplier promotions for best pricing


• Returns/Credits


• Maintain supplier relations


• May manage physical inventory, receive, tag, pick, and put away products ordered (involves lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling)

Qualifications:

• Multi tasker with a sense of urgency: exceptionally detailed, solution-oriented, organized, and self-motivated


• Critical Thinker with the ability to balance and prioritize daily tasks making prompt, sound decisions
  


• Inventory management, documentation, and customer service


• Financially minded to help minimize costs


• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) 


• Must pass background check
