Our Catalyst Division's Kansas City, KS plant is searching for a Plant Process Engineer. In this role, you are responsible for plant processing and engineering activities for our Zeolyst plant.

Essential Job Functions:
Using your technical problem solving skills in a chemical process setting.
Conducting economic evaluation of ideas and projects.
Coordinate day-to-day activities of contractors and plant personnel.
Development and implementation of plant and process improvement ideas using a team of operators, maintenance, R&D, and engineering personnel.
Assist Unit Manager in the preparation, control, and implementation of plant budgets and capital projects, including evaluating and improving process capacity and yields, and maintaining health, safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
Assist Unit Manager in the management of plant programs, including, but not limited to:
RC-14001
ISO-9001
Process Safety Management (OSHA PSM)
Coordinate special studies or evaluation as required.
Requirements:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of plant processing and project experience
Written and oral communication skills
Self Starter - ability to work unsupervised to complete and accomplish stated goals
Organization skills - ability to multi-task
Willingness to learn and apply new ideas and concepts.
People skills - ability to accomplish goals in a dynamic organization.
