The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Health Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Developing health data analysis in support of the portfolio of 3M HIS patient classification methodologies.




• Implementing new approaches and ways of thinking in the analysis of new and existing data sources.




• Collaborating with other members of the data analysis team, clinical researchers, health economists and industry professionals as we apply our industry leading methodologies to the measurement of efficiency and health outcomes.




• Growing to lead the analytical design in support of maintaining and extending our product portfolio.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and a minimum of eight (8) years experience in health data analysis in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree education requirement




• Four (4) years’ experience in health data analysis

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include.

• Master's degree in field related to data analysis.




• Knowledge of DRG patient classification systems




• Knowledge of health insurance claims data and coding (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS)




• Previous experience of applying research techniques to health data.

Location: Remote

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
