We are hiring a Digital Marketing Program Manager to oversee the strategy of multiple digital marketing programs that are critical to the success of the Cardiac Rhythm Business (CRM). This role will also motivate others within the organization to drive new thinking on how to create experiences that will differentiate Medtronic from other options for our customers and patients to ensure we deliver the right message, through the right channel, to the right customer, at the right time.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop a deep understanding of digital marketing best practices to create the CRM Voice and drive Brand Awareness and Engagement

  • Establish a CRM digital community by leveraging US Field and global marketers

  • Act as the CRM digital strategy subject matter expert, leveraging knowledge to support customer engagement, and patient engagement as a part of the business strategy.

  • Align with regions to achieve global CRM digital marketing objectives, such as but not limited to customer communications, portfolio and launch strategies.

  • Identify and manage the omni-channel digital communication strategy for CRM marketing including requirements, scope, deliverables, key milestones, timeline, resources and budget - as well as gain necessary buy-in from key stakeholders.

  • Partner with various CRM Marketing and Marketing Communication Teams in delivering digital campaign strategies

  • Maintain a master calendar for digital communication programs (eblasts, content capsules, sponsored content, e-newsletters, etc.)

  • Develop patient marketing strategy, messaging, social media presence

  • Build a patient stakeholder plan partnering with CRM Marketers

  • Annually audit patient materials and digital assets

  • Coordinate social listening focusing on the Electrophysiology audience and the Cardiology social channels

  • Develop a pan CRM message content strategy to deploy across digital channels

  • Liaison for the global regions digital strategists to ensure content continuity and sharing

  • Manage marketing and sales training of social media

  • Work with brand teams to develop and maintain a master content calendar for social media and other digital communication programs (eblasts, content capsules, sponsored content, e-newsletters, etc.)

  • Develop and implement detailed social/digital channel plans including requirements, scope, deliverables, key milestones, timeline, resources and budget - as well as gain necessary buy-in from key stakeholders

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program insight for leveraging best practices across CRM.

  • Act as the liaison for software, identifying and vetting new technologies, proposals and vendors for future digital channel initiatives to increase customer engagement.


  • 20% travel domestically and internationally in support of customer engagements, internal Medtronic activities, and immersing in stakeholder environments

    Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in a role in involving digital/marketing (5 years with Advanced Degree)

  • Project/Program Management experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite as well as broad enterprise applications such as Google Analytics

    Nice to Have:



  • MBA

  • Experience in medical device, healthcare or consulting

  • Software, web development or digital platform experience nice to have

  • Direct to patient marketing experience

  • Strong analytical skills
