Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and evaluates electric and electronic parts, modules and systems of products
• Selects components and systems based on research of specifications and reliability
• Researches and tests components, modules and systems to establish operating data
• Conducts, evaluates, documents, and presents experimental tests
• Designs, develops and evaluates complex cables, cable harnesses and other signal & power distribution solution using ECAD-Systems
• Partners with departments to procure and assemble electrical components, modules and systems
• Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates Printed Circuit Board Assemblies using electronic design and modeling software (OrCAD & Allegro)
• Holds cross-functional engineering design review meetings

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or similar required; prior work experience not required
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English
• Excellent IT knowledge, e.g. MS Windows, MS Office products
• Familiarity with design and productization of electrical control systems, electrical CAD Systems (Zuken E3)
• Practical experience with sensors, actuators, field busses (e.g. Ethernet, Serial, EtherCAT), measurement and controls technology
• Proficient at using an oscilloscope for data capture and research

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of power distribution and/or control system design of systems
• Experience with product life cycle management
• Experience with writing software for test
• Experience with circuit analysis software like SPICE
