Public Relations Intern- Summer 2021 at Nvidia Corporation in Santa Clara, California

Job Description:

Our consumer marketing team seeks a communications intern that will help guide communications execution for our cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, and creative efforts under the NVIDIA Studio program. In the role, you will handle tactical execution to help grow visibility for both brands. Your responsibilities will include drafting communications including press releases, blogs, media alerts and pitches; and reporting on results. The ideal candidate is in a communications field and comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment. You're passionate about video games and fascinated by the technology that powers them.

What you'll be doing:

• Draft external and internal-facing communications including press releases, blogs, media alerts, pitches and FAQs
  
  


• Work with cross-functional teams to align on messaging
  
  


• Interface and coordinate with external agencies and publishing, software and hardware partners
  
  


• Develop partner communication activities
  
  


• Support the development and execution of communications at events and media engagements
  
  


• Measure, monitor and build comprehensive coverage reports, and develop insights determining effectiveness and adjustments to strategy
  
  

What we need to see:

• Pursuing BA or MA in communications, public relations, media studies, marketing, advertising, business, or journalism
  
  


• Strong written, editorial and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to lead multiple projects and tasks
  
  


• Willingness to work long and/or irregular hours and travel (when appropriate)
  
  


• Familiarity and knowledge of media landscape
  
  

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Deep understanding of the video game industry and creative applications is a significant plus
  
  


• Understanding how initiatives need to be adapted for cultural differences
