Order Operations Analyst at Tanium in New York City, New York

The Basics:

Tanium is adding to its world-class accounting and finance organization, and is looking for a top-notch Order Operations Analyst to join our team, with a focus on partnerships. The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high-growth, dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an interdisciplinary position which is responsible for global order management, billing, cash collections, and licensing. In this position you will partner closely with Deal Desk, Revenue, Global Sales, Field Operations, and Tax, as well as our finance teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for processing all orders for strategic partners, including new partner account setup, sales order review, license delivery, and invoice processing using NetSuite and Salesforce
• Understand current policies and apply the policies to complex deal structures
• Manage all partner proof of concept and not-for-resale license requests
• Oversee the partner fee payment process
• Maintain accurate order reporting and deliver to OEM partner on a monthly basis; monitor and replenish PO funds as needed
• Establish strong relationships with Sales, Deal Desk, Technical Account Management, Tax, Legal, and Revenue departments and become a subject matter expert with regards to Order Management and Licensing
• Serve as the escalation and point of contact for Channel Operations and Partner teams
• Work with business users and cross-functional teams to identify problems, process gaps and assist in on-going process improvements in order processing, deal closure, invoicing, and collections workflows
• Assist with creation and preparation of schedules and ad hoc reports regarding key metrics for management review
• Responsible for sending collection follow-up notices and for resolving invoice issues in a timely manner

• Education:


• BS/BA or equivalent experience required


• Experience:


• Full understanding of quote to cash process
• 2+ years of work experience in order fulfillment preferred
• Experience working at a software or subscription based company highly preferred
• Salesforce and NetSuite experience a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)
