Retail Bloom began in 2015, and is a division of Aleva Stores. Retail Bloom is a third-party Marketplace Service Provider that provides all-inclusive services to brands, retailers, and distributors to drive sales on online e-commerce marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart.com, eBay, and Jet.

Aleva Stores began in 1957 and is now a third generation multi-channel retailer based in Rochester Hills, Michigan.  The company currently operates twelve e-commerce websites.  Aleva Stores has a state-of-the-art distribution center that processes an average of 2,000 shipments daily with seasonal daily spikes as high as 10,000 shipments.  We also offer third party fulfillment services and we've grown to become the logistical backbone for many companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for an opportunity to join a fast growing team within an e-commerce environment? Retail Bloom is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and team.  The Warehouse Manager will ensure all facets of the warehouse are functioning at expected capacity to get orders out timely and accurately, ensures inventory accuracy, on-time shipment rate, and oversees FBA transfer orders.

JOB DUTIES:

Operations


  • Responsible for making sure drop-offs and pickups are happening on time (USPS, UPS and FedEx) and working with carrier on schedule changes, or sweeps if needed

  • Responsible for improving processes, and implementing changes as necessary

  • Communicate with third party providers as needed ie Barcoders and ADSI to ensure equipment is operating correctly and workflows are not hindered

  • Step in where needed in any area of the warehouse when short staffed or increase in workload

  • Manage cycle count inquiries from buyers and customer service, as needed, from vendors and accounting

  • Keeps communication with Inventory team regarding inventory in process, or incoming POS and offers improvements where applicable

  •  Manages upkeep and maintenance of onsite equipment, and proposes additional equipment as needed to management

  • Assists in MFN orders unable to be found, and processing inventory correctly

  • Stays up to date with incoming inventory, planning shelving and resources as needed

  • Assists in helping look at alternative shipping solutions, and maximizing profit through shipping

  • Communicates with operations assistant on inventory in building needing transfer orders

  • Manages any additional programs, such as Seller Fulfilled Prime and Onsite as necessary

  • Acts as main operational point of contact for 3PL clients

  • Ensure warehouse is cycle counted on appropriate schedule vendor, and as a whole 2x/year

  • Maintains accurate inventory counts on moving product, and assists in making sure that all inventory in the building is listed, or committed for orders

  • Develop process for incoming returns (customer, and Amazon returned inventory) and work to implement into the day to day to ensure movement

  • Any other tasks, projects or duties that may be assigned.

Management


  • Supervise day to day operations of warehouse teammates, making sure all are on task, and helping prioritize tasks each day

  • Responsible for making sure team is accountable, and orders are shipping on time (including FBM, FBA, Currex and Onsite)

  • Keeps stock on necessary supplies needed for warehouse

  • Practices regular quality control for shipments going to Amazon and directly to customers

  • Handles PTO and attendance notifications for team members accordingly

  • Hold team accountable for KPIs, and schedule regular coachings with team members

  • Schedules regular PDIs with employees, and works to assist them in their career path

  • Assist in interviewing and provide input on hiring personnel, as well as onboarding of employees

  • Communicates company, or vendor changes to team as necessary

  • Helps with budget, and planning for warehouse staff and needs

  • Stays up to date with needed changes in operations, including additional Amazon protocols for shipments

  • Any other tasks, projects or duties that may be assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY:


  • Ensures all facets of warehouse are functioning at expected capacity to get orders out timely and accurately.
