JOB OVERVIEW:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be a core, pivotal, and transformational member of the engineering team.  You will work as an integral part of our agile teams in analyzing, designing, building, and testing high quality cloud deployment methodologies and systems.  You will work on a team under the leadership of senior architects, building the future of our state-of-the-art cloud-based payment processing and membership management platform.  This position will be fully responsible for our CICD pipelines and the flow of code updates through the engineering group, as well as creating and monitoring highly available cloud infrastructure and platforms to host that code.  You will have the opportunity to work on multiple technologies with a leaning toward Microsoft technology stacks, especially Azure cloud platform services. 

Responsibilities will be diverse including AZURE architecture and infrastructure, build tooling and dev-ops systems and processes.  Responsibility will span all environment including production, development, and testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Assist in deploying, building, maintaining, and support of  applications in Azure and at times AWS environments, including

• Build new and modernize existing deployments processes.


• Build new and modernize cloud infrastructure for improved reliability and scalability.


• Work with the team to build effective monitoring and proactive problem resolution.


• Work with the product owner in an agile (scrum) development process to ensure adequate requirements are available and to scope, estimate, and plan work


• Work with software QA to determine test plans, fix discovered issues, and participate in the deployment process


• Assist in reviewing new development support tickets and provide fixes/feedback as appropriate


• Effectively manage time across multiple responsibilities to deliver planned work within timeboxed team sprints


• Administer critical analysis and work with the team to deliver solutions to problem areas

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), or closely related field of study is preferred
