Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

• You will create strategic initiatives to drive the transformation of Materials Services according to our "Materials-as-a-service" strategy


• You will closely interact with our top management and collaborate with a broad range of functions throughout your strategic projects throughout NA and Germany


• You will conduct strategic analysis on competitors, markets, trends to base your recommendations on a reliable fact base


• Position will have dual reporting to the strategy developing team in Germany as well to local leadership in NA

Minimum Requirements:

• > 5 years of professional experience in M&A - preferably in a fast paced dynamic environment


• Significant e xperience in M&A processes (e.g., target search, valuation & modelling, due diligence, post merger in tegration) is considered a must


• Experience in innovation, supply chain management, strategy development or digitalization is a must


• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, fast comprehension and good understanding of strategic c oncepts , tools and drivers


• Excellent communication and relationship building skills and stakeholder management


• Four year degree from an accredited university in a related field


• Experienced and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced degree in Business Administration or Finance


• Reliable self-starter who is keen to make an impact with a "can-do" attitude


• Strong results-orientation and ownership to drive topics forward in an independent and structured way


• T eam player that can work in diverse environment and build long-lasting relationship s


• Sophisticated presentation and communication skills to effectively convey results to different target audiences
