Description

White-Rodgers is looking for an IT Co-Op to work at our Saint Louis office.  We are accepting applications from candidates who are starting a career in Information Technologies or Engineering and can begin Summer 2021 and stay through Fall 2021.

The qualified applicant will become part of our Information Technology team.  You will be able to apply coursework concepts to real-world situations working alongside professional, experienced colleagues while also gaining valuable experience working for a global manufacturing and technology company.

The selected candidate will work in various IT functions where he/she will interact with many of our internal customer locally and in our remote facilities around the world.  A co-op position at White-Rodgers is a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm. It will be an experience that puts you front and center, allowing you to be hands-on and contributing your creative energy on high-impact projects

AS A CO-OP INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY YOU WILL: 


  • Support BI and Data Warehouse Solutions (MSSQL/Hadoop)

  • Perform data analysis to support a variety of functions

  • Support Sharepoint and intranet applications development

  • Support the creation and revision of process documentation

  • Support infrastructure projects, servers, networks, mobile devices, scripting and minimal desktop support

  • Support security assessments

  • Support product and software evaluations

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology or similar degree. 
  • Able to work starting Summer 2021 and stay through the end of Fall 2021.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Completion of at least three semesters of course work.
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

  • Strongly prefer a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Sophomore or higher class status preferred 
  • Applications: MSSQL, Snowflake, GitHub, IIS, Domo, Power BI, OLAP
  • Languages: C#, HTML, ASP, VB Script, .NET
  • Operating systems: Windows, Linux, MacOS
