Job Summary:
As an HR Intern, you will be exposed to different HR programs and processes. You will work support Talent Acquisition, new hire orientation/onboarding efforts, the internship program and general HR Administration.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
During the Internship, the following duties will be completed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Some of these tasks will involve direct supervision and assistance from HR staff. For some of the more frequent duties, the HR Intern will receive training on how to complete these tasks and will then be given an element of autonomy to complete them.
Assist with the creation of a sourcing playbook.
Participate in training on best practice sourcing tools/tactics.
Work with Talent Acquisition team to understand existing sources.
Collaborate with cross functional departments to gather industry/discipline/geographic specific sources.
Engage Employee Resource Groups to sustain focus on diverse sources.
Conduct research on university job sites, networking groups, industry affiliations, etc.
Document findings including contacts, costs, relevance.
Assist with Employee Onboarding and New Hire Orientation
Assist with HR Process Administration, Employee Files and I-9’s, Updating Job Descriptions
Assisting HR Team with running the overall internship program
Managing Intern Program Calendar (Scheduling lunch n’ learns, trainings, executive presentations and organizing networking sessions)
Working with HR and Finance partners on budgeting for the program
Ordering intern appreciation day gifts and sending gift cards for lunch n’ learns
Sending and collecting feedback on internship program surveys
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations
Professional demeanor.

Willing to report to work at the San Ramon office
This is a paid internship
Experience:
Coursework in HR, Business Administration and Communications is desired.
Previous Internship experience is preferable.
Must have previous work experience, does not need to be HR related
Education:
The position requires the candidate to be a student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field.
Would prefer candidate to be completing their degree within 2 years, junior or senior
