Job Description Summary:

The Associate Manager, Content Architecture will develop and manage the component content management system used for all CFA Institute program curricula. This role owns the curriculum content model and translates content strategy into structured content to enable easy identification and reuse through effective content data models. The Associate Manager, Content Architecture collaborates across the function to continuously evolve content templating and validation and establishes guidelines for authoring workflows, version and history management, and ingestion and export pipelines. This position ensures that XML workflows, transformation scripts, and the publishing processes deliver efficient, reusable content products.

Job Description:

As the Associate Manager, Content Architecture, you will have the opportunity to:

• Serve as the owner and vendor manager of the component content management system to develop and deliver planned and new products, plan and implement the roadmap, and analyze and respond to changing business needs over time
  
  


• Lead conversations between senior leadership, content creators, producers, and business partners to define content creation and reuse strategies and align on mutually beneficial solutions that create optimal user experiences
  
  


• Drive efficiency of content creation, reuse, management, and delivery through the application of best practices to achieve organizational needs
  
  


• Accountable for evolving the content model and content structures to ensure scalability and interoperability across delivery channels
  
  


• Set objectives, key results, and metrics related to the use and effectiveness of content system and make data-driven recommendations to improve performance
  
  

The skills and experience required for this role are:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  
  


• Demonstrated experience in content architecture, engineering, or related role
  
  


• Successful history of structuring educational content in structurally rich, semantically categorized ways
  
  


• A proven track record governing content models and translating them into delivery-ready educational product formats, including online learning environments, print, and ebook
  
  


• Knowledge of the auditing and analysis of content, and the strategic approach to content design and creation needed to provide cohesive user experiences with complex educational content
  
  


• Strong working knowledge of XML and use of information standards
  
  


• Experience in project management, with skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery
  
  


• Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages useful
