The Global Technology Strategy team works with the GT Executive Team to drive technology strategy and plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable an organization's overall business strategy. This role will apply knowledge of best practices to define and shape the overall strategy, governance, organization structure/staffing, architecture and processes for Global Technology. This leader will maximize business value by conducting rigorous analyses and develop strategic multi-year road maps in concert with other IT leaders and business teams.
We are seeking a multi-dimensional Senior Technology Strategy Executive whose primary responsibilities will include:
Drive the firmwide JPMC Global Technology Strategy: Partner with GT Leadership and apply knowledge of industry leading practices to help synthesize the firmwide view for key strategic initiatives (e.g. modernization, data and machine learning) including governance of adoption and business outcomes, creating technology strategy deliverables for the firm's executive and technology leadership teams
Drive IT transformation efforts; focus on organizational strategy and own/shape the move toward an agile, product based operating model
Design technology strategy and planning workshops based on business objectives and stakeholder analysis including adopting appropriate approach/methods, facilitation techniques, pre-work, artifacts and deliverables
Lead a cross functional team in the planning and execution of technology strategy and planning workshops
Partner with business functions to identify new opportunities including process and/or value chain analysis, business service model, business canvas, process and solution enablement plan
In partnership with our Global Technology Strategy, Innovation & Partnerships team, you will work to understanding emerging trends and define the implication for JPMC Technology strategy and deliverables
Influence senior business and technology stakeholders across JPMC ensuring execution on a coordinated strategy that scales technology capabilities firmwide and maximizes business outcomes
Qualifications:
12+ years of business and technology strategy experience
Familiarity with technical concepts, operating models and a strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior business and IT executives,
Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making; provides oversight and guidance to team projects of highest priority and importance
Able to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other senior stakeholders. Excellent technical and business presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills
Track record of driving strategy, organizational and operating model change
Strong facilitation, process and influencing skills
