Certified Nursing Assistant- Float Pool
Full Time, 12 Hour Shifts, Flexible Schedule, Every Other Weekend Off
Available Shifts
Day Shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Night Shift: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
About NHC Farragut's Float Pool: Float Pool partners are required to work at NHC Farragut Healthcare, NHC Place Farragut Assisted Living, and NHC Farragut Cavette Hill. Orientation to all campuses must be completed before accepting a shift. Float Pool partners will work a pre-established schedule at the Float Pool Manager's discretion.
Position Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Assists patient with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comforts and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents.
Licensure Requirement: Must be a certified nursing assistant with a valid Tennessee CNA license.
Experience Requirement: Two years of CNA experience in a skilled nursing facility or hospital are required.

As well as represent the center in a positive manner both in the medical community and in the community as a whole.
Prerequisites/Eligibility and Follow-up Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse aide training course
- Maintains a current unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license and can practice in the State of Tennessee
- Experience: Two years of CNA experience in a skilled nursing facility or hospital required
- All facility pre-employment requisites (i.e., background, references) must be met
- Employee is responsible for completing all mandatory facility and Certified Nursing Assistant educational competency requirements
- Orientation to all campuses must be completed before accepting a shift
- Adhere to all facility and nursing department policies
- Skills will be evaluated and/or assessed within 30 days of hire
Job Knowledge and Capabilities:
- Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Assists patient with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comforts and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents.
- Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure and intake and output measurements.
- Other Duties as Assigned

- NHC Farragut Float Pool partners are required to work at NHC Farragut Healthcare, NHC Place Farragut Assisted Living, and NHC Farragut Cavette Hill.
