Overview

Overview: This position works in tandem with multiple functions including Finance, Land Development, and Construction. Detailed involvement in financial reporting and land spend management / modeling are dominate aspects of this role.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains weekly reports for business operations.
  • Models future land spend, analyzes variances to forecasts, and improves forecast accuracy.
  • Tracks key performance indicators.
  • Manages invoices and vendor payments for the land development team.
  • Assists with warranty administrative work.
  • Helps the Construction Coordinator with start packs and permitting.
  • Continuously reviews current processes and reports for potential improvements.
  • Performs ad-hoc financial modeling and analyses.

Education & Experience

  • 1-2 years prior finance experience preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Flexible to respond to, prioritize, and perform varying tasks as necessary.
  • Ownership mentality / autonomous self-starter

Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • High level of Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Hyperion, Essbase, JDE experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Typical office environment.
  • Ability to drive to local communities and walk job sites
