Description
Position summary:

Responsible for field safety compliance, safety training/practices, OSHA compliance and conducting safety audits/job site inspections for the assigned branch. Will work closely with the client safety representative and branch management to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

Essential duties:

• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and operational policies/practices.


• Conduct safety audits, job observations and incident / accident investigations.


• Organize and conduct all safety and new hire training for the branch.


• Interface with client safety representatives


• Completes all reports and paperwork timely and in compliance with company and client requirements


• Work turnarounds at client sites day, night and weekends as needed.


• May coordinate the Substance Abuse Program testing


• May coordinate employee injury related tasks


• May ensure compliance with Department of Transportation requirements


• Steward and coordinate the loss prevention process


• Perform other duties as assigned

• Industrial/Plant environment

Qualifications
Educational requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent and some college preferred


• Certification in safety related program (OHST, CSST, CHST, COSS) preferred

• 3 years of safety experience in industrial cleaning or similar environment


• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements


• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel)
