Schaeffler, a dynamic global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator- Human Resources at our State of the Art North American Automotive Center in Troy, MI. The Administrative Coordinator's responsibility will be to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Troy Human Resources Team, as well as manage the front desk.
This is a part-time position working 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Generates reports in HRIS and other systems
Prepare KPI reporting and presentation preparation
Completes audits and audit tracking for files
Maintain and audit files of campus job description
Create and maintain business unit organizational charts
Conduct data analysis
Complete or assist with Human Resources projects as assigned
Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements
Support on-site events/meetings (preparation, meals, clean-up)
Assist with development and administration of Human Resource programs, procedures, documents
Provide administrative and clerical support for the department
Ensure supporting materials (agendas, presentations, reports, etc.) for meetings and events are prepared accurately and provided in a timely manner
Review, proofread and assist with any materials, including documents, reports, presentations and other items ensuring accuracy and completeness
Qualified Candidates will have:
Associates degree or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Minimum of two (2) years experience in one or more areas of Human Resources (i.e. recruiting, payroll, benefits, legal compliance, etc.) or other administrative support experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education
Knowledge of and experience with human resources processes and procedures
Professional communication, personal presentation, and strong customer service orientation focused
Must possess strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Meticulous attention to detail and continuous improvement approach
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, is self-driven, proactive, and reliable
Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Flexibility to work mornings as needed for business necessity
