Lead in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects.
Handles oversight and administrative functions for loan booking and funding team
Involved in setting direction, policies, and guidelines for the team.
Establishes and implements risk control processes and operational business models.
Participate and lead internal, external and agency related conference calls
Ensures loan documentation, loan closings, loan files, audits, and operational risks are managed and conducted consistent with various LOB and bank policies as well as government regulations.
Responsible for team member development, talent management and succession planning.
Provides mentoring, training and assistance to new and existing team members.
Assists in the creation and implementation of departmental procedures.
Conducts team and individual meetings/training sessions with staff members.
Prepares and facilitates performance review discussions.
Position will also assist with the mentoring of less experienced closers. Special projects upon request.
Qualifications:
3-5 years Commercial Loan Experience, specifically related Commercial Loan products including US and Multicurrency denominated loans. (Must have commercial loan banking experience no mortgage background)
Proficient in interpreting externally prepared loan documentation, Multicurrency loan products and intricate pricing knowledge.
Advanced analytical, time management and organizational skills
Working knowledge of differences US and foreign currency restrictions
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external customers, bankers and JPM deal team
Proven experience related to adaptability and problem solving
College education preferred
