About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Business Insights & Observability product function. This position provides the unique and exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the full spectrum of the CIB wide application user behavioral & usage data. With comprehensive data collection and structured processes, this group helps Product Managers and Application Development teams across CIB understand their users, make data-driven decisions, and craft delightful digital experiences.

This position will be critical to the team's success, where you will be working side by side with other product managers and engineering counterparts across the Digital Platform & Services, to craft and deliver on our multi-year effort to build the next generation developer tooling and data platforms.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will push the boundaries of what is possible and gain deep experience of building modern applications and micro-services to help businesses get the most out of their data. The working environment is fast paced and demanding but one where creativity and problem solving skills are rewarded. This is a fairly hands-on role with the opportunity to manage, coach and mentor Product Managers on the team.

In this role, you will:

• Apply product management best practices to creatively solve complex, ambiguous, and novel problems.

• Own the vision, product strategy, OKRs and delivery of a new products

• Maintain a robust delivery schedule in partnership with the Engineering team.

• Build consensus with business partners and senior managers on feature priority decisions

• Back decisions with data & metrics

• Keep stakeholders, senior managers informed on delivery progress, blockers and present decision points to drive debate

• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the company (Engineering, Product, Strategy, Operations) to drive our team's success

• Synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities, and translate them into product enhancements that solve specific pain-points

• Evangelize your product and be a champion for great customer and developer experience

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience building products from conception to launch to scale

• Experience with end-to-end software product delivery

• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

• Experience overseeing a roadmap strategy and definition

• Strong communicator, for both technical and non-technical audiences

• High attention, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• High tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environment

• Experience working with a cross-functional team across

• Nice to have - experience in managing product associates and analysts either as a manager or as a senior team-member

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong bias for data-driven decision-making

• Quick decision-making abilities demonstrating bias for action under tight timing and pressure

• You have the ability to navigate a matrixed organization and the ability to influence peers by articulating the product offering and value to business partners

• Knowledge of the analytics market and data infrastructure, or experience within the SaaS/digital space is preferred

• Experience in Product Analytics/Web Analytics products and working knowledge of Observability/SRE functions is a plus

• Experience using analytics platforms such as Tableau/ Heap/ Qlikview / Superset/Redash

• Experience with large volume of data, APIs, data centric features, and data feedback
