What you will do

You are responsible for all operational and advanced procurement activities within the Norman Modification Center, scheduling and order communication to customers. You are also responsible for the management of all suppliers within the commodity group. Tracking material and equipment flow in and out of the Norman Modification Center.

How you will do it

• Control of orders, verification and initial scheduling


• Communicate Sales Order information and estimated ship date to customers.


• Track delivery status of equipment and communicate accordingly to the customer.


• Verify correct pricing of equipment, accessories and modifications on Sales Order.


• Coordinate inventory transactions between Plants.


• Process shipment Stock Transfer Order for shipment of modified unit.


• Coordination of procurement activities over the Norman Modification Center to ensure on time product modifications and material flow.


• Ensure the cost-, quality and time-oriented supply of all required goods, materials, equipment’s and services under compliance with the respective business plans, budgets and targets.


• Material inventory control.


• Process Stock Transfer Order for equipment ordered for modification.


• Process Stock Transfer Order’s and Transfer Requests for materials.


• Initiate and support of proper Make or Buy decisions.


• Ensure smooth product modifications by controlling the acquisition, sourcing on time, in line with cost targets, maintaining procurement results until start of modification.


• Manage the Suppliers within the given programs (Request for Quotes RFQ, change management, contract negotiations, payment queries, dispute resolutions etc.)


• Support implementation of Global Commodity strategies.


• Support accurate and timely reporting of key measurables.


• Implementation and continuous improvement of standardization activities.


• Support and implement diversity strategies.


• Analyze internal process and procedures to recommend and assist in implementation of process improvements to help reduce waste and improve logistics processes leading to overall logistics cost reductions and or improvements in delivery performance.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years’ experience in procurement including buying and managing commodities.


• Strong SAP skills


• Ability to gather, relate and summarize information into logical conclusions.


• Strong interpersonal skills required to interact with internal customers and suppliers.


• Highly motivated individual capable of handling multiple responsibilities. 


• Demonstrated leadership, organization, planning, administration and team playing skills.


• Requires advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use business systems software.
