The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of FTS Data Insights Lead will lead the design, support and testing of the global reports/analytics/KPIs identified as standard work and analytics tools for FTS.

As an FTS Data Insights Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads daily efforts by team to create, enhance, maintain reporting and analytics solutions mainly for Demand Planning and Supply Planning


• Work with global process SMEs within FTS to design analytics solutions


• Provide training, answer questions/tickets related to the supported suite of reports


• Present FTS reporting issues/requirements/progress at management review meetings


• Work closely with global process leaders and SME’s to understand, analyze and prioritize ideas in the global hopper


• Design Self-Serve environments that support optimization and advanced analytics

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Five (5) years of Supply Chain work experience in a private, public, government or military environment


• One (1) year experience with SAP data and SAP Processes

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience managing and leading teams; prioritizing work to meet deadlines


• Strong desire to design and build reports/analytics that enhance a user’s experience and their ability to make better decisions for 3M


• Experience using/designing data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI, Webi, Qlikview, Power BI, Excel, SQL)


• Strong decision making and communication skills


• Self-motivated, ability to learn quickly in high profile environment


• Strong understanding of 3M’s supply chains, master data and global footprint


• Basic understanding of 3M's data warehouse platforms

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
