Job Description:

In this capacity the candidate will perform quality oversight of Retail/Consumer Direct/Correspondent/Home Equity/CLR/Assumptions underwriters by conducting thorough reviews of loans decisioned by underwriters attempting to obtain or reinstate lending authority. This review will include credit, income, collateral and asset analysis as well as adherence to Automated Underwriting findings. Other responsibilities include monitoring various reports and completing necessary research to determine loan compliance with policy.

Candidate should have a high level of knowledge and understanding of conventional (agency and non-agency) and government lending guidelines. They will be required to communicate results of reviews and/or exception decisions to appropriate individuals and partners within JPMorgan Chase and are required to meet targets for productivity and quality.

* Five years' experience in underwriting, quality assurance, audit or similar in home lending originations

- High level of knowledge and understanding of conventional (agency and non-agency- Required) and government lending guidelines (preferred).

* Minimum of seven years' mortgage experience

* College degree preferred

* Excellent analytical and decision making skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong negotiation skills

* Strong time management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
