Job Description:

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Must have 4-6 years of development experience (Post graduation)
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Passionate about building an innovative culture
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid technology background with experience in object oriented programming.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a global team.
• Self-starter and willing to work in a dynamic environment with constantly evolving priorities.

Desirable skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with SecDB / Athena / Quartz platform.
• Experience with FIX protocol and reactive technology.
• FX Business knowledge.

The candidate will be working in the local Houston CCEM STP team. As part of a Major uplift of JPMorgan flagship eXecute platform, the candidate will be re-building our backend infrastructure for the FX and LATAM businesses. Candidate will be expected to:

1. Participate in the Design phase and interact with various team other technology team and stakeholder.

2. Build the new platform using state of the art proprietary technology from JPMorgan Chase.

3. Write documentation.

4. Train and on-board our production management team.

5.
