Typical Duties and Responsibilities








Description of Tasks Performed

Alumni Career Development

- Serve as first point of contact for College of Business alumni seeking employment and provide career coaching

- Work with Career Connection Team to ensure quality career development services are

provided by the appropriate staff contact

- Work with alumni to create/perfect their marketing documents (resume, cover letter,

LinkedIn)

- Research best practices for assessments and tools to guide alumni in determining their

career path

- Offer professional development workshops and group training







Description of Tasks Performed

Fast Track MBA Students - Directed Work Experience Program Management

- Work closely with graduate recruiting team to create documents which clearly

communicate the details and expectations of the program

- Interview preparation

- Oversee DWE student interview process

- Full-time Job Placement coaching and preparation

- Tracking and reporting

College of Business Employer Partnerships

- Continuously expand employer partner pool to provide high-quality opportunities internships and full-time opportunities

- Develop marketing documents (digital and print) to engage new employers and ensure

current partners have clear guidelines and understand the survey and feedback process

- Oversee employer interview process

- Employer Training/Communication

- Survey employers regarding student performance and follow-up to ensure 100%

participation on surveys

- Create and send a brief monthly partner newsletter with tips, updates and program

announcements

- Visit (in person or Zoom) with key employers each semester to gain insights on trends,

needs, additional opportunities
