SUMMARYThis role is recognized as a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of the assignments of the functional area. With moderate supervision, the candidate demonstrates adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria when performing work assignments. This role uses the continuous improvement process to devise new approaches to solving problems.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Has the ability to apply and interpret statistical tools and applications for the optimization of large systems and processes.
Works under moderate supervision in both technical areas and in direction and productivity.
Has moderate impact on the financial performance of assigned system or process.
Has knowledge of complete process or technology.
Successfully manages small to moderate project, processes, or work groups.
Has demonstrated leadership skills, leads small teams.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS5 years of Engineering experience as an Engineer I or similar position.
Familiar with commonly used applications related to their Engineering discipline.
BS degree in an Engineering discipline such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Industrial.
