Responsibilities:

• Ensures appropriate staffing and efficient performance of EVS staff to uphold cleanliness, infection control and patient safety standards for the hospital


• Builds an EVS team atmosphere by assisting director in hiring of staff, training of staff and staff development


• Ensures proper equipment and supplies are used in accordance with infection control and patient safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently


• Ability to work as part of a team in an atmosphere that can be both fast paced highpressure and slow paced low pressure


• Ability to operate autonomously on a varying set of tasks


• Requires mobility and ability to move, lift, push, and pull equipment & supplies


• Two years as EVS Technician; EVS lead or supervisor experience preferred.


• Must have strong leadership and communication skills
