Job Description:

As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and fueling the outbound marketing messaging and strategy for Broadcom's market-leading DevOps, ValueOps or AIOps products. You will be the market and product evangelist both internally and externally, and will ensure that our content, messaging and communications are differentiating CA and leading the application performance and analytics market. You'll be passionate about building customer champions and leveraging customer stories that showcase their success.

The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of success driving market strategy at an enterprise software organization. The candidate should be an expert in continuous testing, digital transformation and DevOps - as well as having an understanding of complex, enterprise sales and buyer journeys. He or she will be proficient in translating technical features into clear and concise benefits and will have a deep understanding of IT and developer personas and industry trends and how to position value that aligns to individual pain points. You'll be an excellent writer, spokesperson and presenter, with the marketing acumen to translate your expertise into compelling content across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Develop compelling positioning and messaging for our DevOps solutions to target personas and industries


  • Translate value propositions into impactful sales enablement, including pitch decks, case studies, sales sheets, videos, collateral, whitepapers and more


  • Be the expert on Continuous Testing market, monitor industry trends and keep close eye on competitors


  • Partner with demand generation teams on development of campaigns and content including webinars


  • Be a customer advocate; make sure that customer content is included in anything and everything we


  • do in marketing


  • Partner with the Product Managers to build demos and deliver technical and thought leadership


  • presentations


  • Spearhead content and programs that foster Broadcom's thought leadership in the industry, resulting in higher product and solution awareness


  • Partner with sales enablement to ensure consistency of message across the entire sales cycle.


About You:


  • A brilliant positioner, building assets that are clear, concise, and consumable


  • Strategic and tactical, creative and disciplined, enjoys working at the big picture and detailed levels


  • Driven, self-starter; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


  • Great written and oral communication skills


  • A product evangelist, who is able to inspire and drive consensus


  • Strong interpersonal skills; a great partner to product management and able to build strong relationships across functions


  • Highly accountable; takes ownership and drives sense of urgency


Requirements:


  • BA/BS (preferably in business, engineering or a related field)


  • 15+ years of product marketing experience in the software industry


  • Expert in digital purchasing cycles and strong social media skills


  • Hands-on APM development experience is a strong plus


  • Proven track record in developing highly effective sales presentations and collateral


  • You've run or played a key role in a product launch before


  • You've interviewed customers and documented how the product has delivered benefit


  • You are skilled at collaborating with product management, engineering and customers to come up with great ideas for content
