Cardiology Technician (Full-Time, 9:00A-9:00P)

Position Summary / Career Interest:

Performs sheath pulls for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Labs. Performs ECG and provides avariety of specialized duties on the Cardiac Treatment and Recovery Unit.

Position Description:

• Assist in transporting patients to nursing units.


• Assists with patient preps (pre and post exam).


• Completes electrocardiograph readings on patients as requested.


• Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and restocks supplies.


• Performs sheath pulls under the direction of RN.


• Prepares CTR rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent


• BLS Certification

Preferred

• CNA with phlebotomy experience
