Job Description:

Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a HR Coordinator based at our Roseville office. You will provide administrative and technical support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources. You will be responsible for managing process flow, technical support and coordination of activities related to the assigned functional area. You will provide backup assistance to other functional areas within the department and work on special projects as assigned. Contributes to the accomplishments of human resource initiatives, practices, objectives that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance, of a superior workforce. This role will support the Learning and Development and HR Advisory teams.

What you will do:


  • Provides administrative support to the Learning and Development and HR Advisory Services teams to include: management of the functional mailboxes with timely response to clients, providing regular reporting to various departments, and supporting projects

  • Pulls reports from Workday as requested for analysis, data entry, and other requests.

  • Updates departments forms, procedures, and policies.

  • May assist in preparation of cost center budget; monitoring and controlling expenditures to include reviewing of invoices for validity of charges.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and technology, Workday experience preferred

  • Strong ability to juggle competing priorities, effective time management to drive results and meet deadlines

  • Strong customer services skills required

  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization required.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 0 to 3 years of experience
