The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Data and Applications Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead and support different facets of a project from requirements and design to deployment and support.


• Influence the organization cross-functionally and lead management of change activities.


• Perform planning, design and development of tools used by the global LSS community.


• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.


• Work with global LSS leaders, MBBs, and BBs to prioritize business and information needs and define new process improvement opportunities

Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university


• Five (5) years experience in information technology (IT) in a private, public, government or military environment


• One (1) year experience with Microsoft Power Platform


• One (1) year experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)


• Experience working directly with end users to provide technical assistance

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Previous technical management / leadership experience leading and driving change through projects


• Technical expertise regarding application design, development, testing and deployment.


• Experience with SQL or other data querying methods


• Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Qlikview, PowerBI, SQL Server Reporting services) and/or scripting (XML, Javascript, python), and/or ETL frameworks


• Understanding PowerApps formulas and development methods to develop canvas and model driven apps


• Experience with Azure cloud services


• Experience in Lean Six Sigma or manufacturing field

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international travel

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
