Customer Accounts Representative at Bio-Rad Laboratories in benicia, California

Job Description:

Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a forward-thinking and professional individual to make a positivecontribution to our Customer Accounts team. Using strong communication and problem solving skills, you will process customer new and modified account set-up requests, answer questions and participate in process resolution. The ideal candidate is self-driven, passionate about customer service, takes initiative when appropriate, has sound judgment, and will be a participant and proponent of team work.

Flexibility and adaptability are a must in our growing industry as we strive to continually improve our customer's experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer and initiate telephone calls and email correspondence professionally.


• Research and document required information using available resources and guidelines.


• Handle and resolve customer complaints.


• Process forms and applications.


• Identify and escalate priority issues.


• Route calls to the appropriate resources when necessary.


• Collaborate with other departments when additional input is required to confirm a prospective customer's validity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus.


• At least 3 years of experience providing outstanding customer service.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong problem solving ability.


• Great attention to detail.


• Computer skills including, but not limited to: data input and information retrieval, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.


• Ability to type at least 50 WPM is a must.


• Experience with SAP using a plus.
