Job Description:

Primary Purpose

The Manager, Center Strategy & Operations will support the Center Operations leadership team in driving key strategic initiatives to support business operations and strategic goals. This is an individual contributor role that is involved in strategic decision-making that has a significant impact in the success of the overall center business for the company. This dynamic role will serve as an in-house consultant, supporting both planning activities and strategic projects across the Center Operations organization. This position will report to the VP, Chief of Staff for North America Center Operations, and be a key contributor to the transformation agenda of the COO for North America Center Operations.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities


  • Support business strategy coordination and planning activities across the center operations organization

  • Drive data and insights-driven decision making across the center operations business

  • Lead financial modeling and business case development for key strategic initiatives and any ad-hoc needs at the request of the COO

  • Summarize KPIs and updates for Center Operations in strategic presentation materials for Executive Committee and Board of Directors

  • Manage workstreams and projects that impact Center Operations.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes within the Center Operations support functions

  • Track programs, projects, and initiatives impacting Center Operations

Decision Making

Receives limited direction and exercises independent judgement within the scope of their role

Job Requirements - Education/Experience

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Required: 4 years business experience, with experience in management consulting strongly preferred

  • Analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities in finance and business subjects

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization

  • Experience with business case development, financial modeling, roadmap creation, and operating model design

  • Proven ability to manage multiple functions and establish positive relationships at all levels and across all departments

  • Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint; Microsoft Project or other project management tools a plus

  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency are required.

  • Position is based in Newton, MA
