This 20+ staffed bed hospital is known for their caring and high quality Healthcare professionals by the community. They are fully equip to handle all medical cases from minor injuries to life threatening emergencies 24/7. 

The Assistant Lab Director reports directly up to the Laboratory Director in assisting with all department needs from sharing clinical laboratory results with patients to transfusion services. The Manager will have the ongoing support of 10+ FTE's as well as a Laboratory Supervisor daily. They will be responsible for communicating with the Quality department as well as facility Pathologists to educate staff on policies and procedural duties. Previous knowledge and experience with medical equipment for testing procedures is highly recommended for application consideration in order to be the most cost efficient. 

Responsibilities of Assistant Lab Director may include:

• Understanding of data diagnosis 


• Laboratory policies and regulation education


• Staffing & guidance in the Laboratory unit


• Order cost efficient supplies for the department 


• Being communicative with patients on a personal level to make them comfortable


• Assuring quality patient care is being met and operating smoothly
