The 4A's Foundation exists to advocate for and connect multicultural talent to the marketing industry and to amplify and catalyze multicultural voices and actions within their organizations. The Project & Engagement Director is a newly created role that is hands-on and will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to take ownership and manage 4A's Foundation programs and initiatives and ensure partner and agency engagement is maximized. The successful applicant will be the direct point of contact for all 4A's Foundation projects, working in partnership with the team, they will be responsible for creating and managing project plans and ensuring that partner and agency contracts are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Design, define and manage project plans and scope, deliverables, schedule, resource needs and budget across multiple work streams

Serve as client interface on projects, clarify project requirements, outline and explain complex ideas clearly, and manage expectations

Consult with project leads and collaborate with other team members as required to build the best solutions for campaigns with oversight and support from senior team members. Play a dual role of internal team and agency/partner advocate

Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes

Lead efficient meetings and conference calls

Involve team at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization

Work in partnership with Foundation Integrated Campaign & Creative Designer, 4A's Finance and team to accurately assess all deliverables and outcomes

Promote healthy initiative/program processes and lead by example and accountability

Demonstrate diplomacy and patience when it comes to challenging situations w/ internal and external teams and stakeholders

Maintain effective and proactive communication between all project/program participants to ensure all expectations are understood,·

Partner with Foundation leadership to implement strategic plans and partnerships for Foundation initiatives.

Create post-event/project evaluations, compile and present data and insights

Partner with Foundation VP to build and maintain partner relationships with agencies, brands, etc. Including supporting the strategy and planning for partnership engagements.

Manage and ensure all partner activations p are executed on time and within budget, create partner trackers, manage contract execution and invoicing· Act as point of contact to partners/agencies, host kick off calls, and manage Foundation resources to ensure effective and efficient support of each activation.

Manage and coordinate annual fundraising activities to support the Foundation. Track fundraising donations and correspondence related to fundraising initiatives

Qualifications & Responsibilities

B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field

8+ years project management experience simultaneously managing multiple large-scale projects

Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment

Proven ability to partner with key stakeholders, partners and management

Ability to work with C-level executives internally and externally

Ability to accurately track and communicate project status

Experience and proficiency in structuring and executing large-scale

Ability to accurately forecast timing and associated costs across a range of projects

Ability to identify and manage project risks and solid change control experience

Knowledge of project management principles, processes/tools, including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel

Excellent, clear written and oral communication skills

Proven track record in building trust at all levels and understanding of multigenerational audiences

Understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
