Behavioral Provider Data Senior Representative at Cigna in Bloomington, Minnesota

Job Description:

The Provider Data Senior Representative is responsible for maintaining the quality of behavioral network provider data for its application in claim, directory, and reporting capacities. Works with matrix partners to ensure provider data accuracy across multiple systems and will work directly with provider(s) to verify information.

Responsibilities:

• Administer provider-initiated changes to the behavioral provider book of record (PMRS). Includes but is not limited to:
  
  
  • Updates and attestations generated through directory outreach
  
  
  • PMRS Provider Add and Change Form submissions
  
  
  • Demographic updates submitted through the provider portal at CignaforHCP.com, external report (by fax, mail, or email), and internal handoff
  
  
  
  


• Judge submissions for completeness; outreach providers and/or matrix partners as needed to ensure accuracy of updates.


• Identify changes necessitating updates to network provider contracts, and initiate these with contract administrators.


• Coordinate behavioral provider data maintenance in downstream systems, were applicable.


• First point of contact for behavioral colleagues requiring data support on behalf of network providers.


• May participate in department projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail


• Problem solving background


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


• Effective listening and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks


• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)


• Knowledge of PMRS


• Bachelor's degree preferred


• Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.
