Scope of Work
As an Enterprise Solution Architect, you are required to provide technical and thought leadership to help customers realize these transformation goals. You will be a critical link between the Commerce/BY product development team and customer stakeholders who needs to thoroughly understand customer's technology footprint, future roadmap, business enablement plans and create the best possible path for implementing Commerce products.
Responsibilities
Master competency on end-to-end solution architecture, Omni Channel Fulfillment solutions and business processes
Ensuring functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs by writing, reviewing, and validating clear technical specifications
Fosters business relationship with key customer contact and provides technical expertise to BY/Commerce stakeholders
Act as a Cost Advisor, engage in environment capacity and sizing review and provide insights into optimization opportunities
Work closely with the Commerce Order Management Experts for complex issue resolution including Product Development
Provide architecture and technical leadership to develop/maintain various enterprise fulfilment applications such as Order Data Store (ODS), Inventory Availability, Sourcing and Store Fulfillment (pick/pack/ship)
Deliver enhancements/features that will scale to peak volumes without compromising on the SLAs
Help customers with change management activities, check the quality and accuracy of deliverables provided by the extended team ensuring that delivery is without errors and will participate in day to day interactions with clients and team members
Provides advice to customers and Deploy & Operate Team regarding industry best practices and process methodology
Qualifications
Technical Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in building high volume enterprise scale applications
Excellent command over Java programming language (Java 8+ and advanced Java concepts) with coding experience in the reactive paradigm will be ideal
Strong experience in Spring technologies - SpringBoot, Dependency Injection, AoP, MVC , Web flux is an added advantage
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, AI, Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, Redis and Kafka
Configuration and development experience using OMS components, agents, services, API's, related interfaces
Experience working in SaaS product environment and expertise in building cloud native applications (preferred)
Ability to create and maintain technical artifacts, including detailed design documentation and diagrams as needed
React quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and direction
Industry Experience
8 -10 years of experience in Order Management, Omni Channel Fulfillment and Supply Chain domain
Prior experience in Sterling OMS is a plus
eCommerce experience/knowledge across Retail and Grocery is nice to have
Education
Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science or equivalent technical field highly preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field highly preferred

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal personnel and external stakeholders, with emphasis on follow-through and reporting
Proven background to have delivered service improvements
Continuous improvement mindset and lateral thinking
Self-motivated and a quick learner - New technologies, platforms, integrations
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as warranted by the situation in critical times or to manage customer escalations
