Job Responsibilities:



  1. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work

  2. Prepare disciplined estimates by calculating complete takeoff and pricing of the electrical scope of work.

  3. Solicit subcontractors and vendors for market pricing.

  4. Perform subcontractor scope evaluations and bid leveling.

  5. Maintain historical cost information of related scope of work.

  6. Review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.

  7. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.


Education/Experience:



  • Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and / or experience.

  • Five years electrical estimating experience.
