Job Summary:

Chemistry Technical Advisor to support the Department of Energy's chemistry and chemical manufacturing R&D activities of the Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review and edit reports, talking points, articles, and presentations on subjects related to chemistry, chemical manufacturing, catalyst science, industrial energy efficiency, and decarbonization.


• Conduct technical merit review for R&D concept papers and proposals.


• Provide technical support and documentation for R&D program management activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree with 5 years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.


• Technical expertise in chemistry, chemical manufacturing, catalyst science, industrial energy efficiency, and decarbonization.


• Effective analytical and written communication skills on highly technical subjects.


• Familiarity with AMO's mission, technical goals, and program activities.
