What You'll Do

The Nurse Externship at Hillcrest Hospital South allows senior-level nursing students to work side-by-side with RNs and other licensed professionals. You can explore different types of nursing from Acute Inpatient to Critical Care. You will gain valuable clinical experience designed to assist with the transition from student to professional nurse. What You'll Bring

To be considered for theSpring program you must be enrolled in the last two semesters of an accredited RN programormust have completed 2 semesters in a 5 semester program.Hospital orientation will be heldJune 14th - June 16th evening classes. Studentsmustbe able to complete orientation in full.

You must alsosubmit along with your application (email or fax):
- 2 letters of recommendation from nursinginstructors
- Copy of nursing school competency (skills checklist)
- An unofficial transcript
