The Corporate and Workplace Solutions Division (CWS) is comprised of Corporate and Workplace Solutions and the Office of Global Security. Our team focuses on commercial management, client support, advisory solutions, strategic planning, risk management, people security, real estate strategy and the enablement of collaboration and productivity tools across the firm.

The Office of Global Security (OGS) Critical Incident Manager will be forward-thinking, innovative, and help lead - as well as deliver - continuous improvement of OGS' critical incident response, with a focus on crisis management and the leadership of armed teams.

Enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols;
• Lead crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Design and deliver scenario-based crisis management drills to validate effective incident management response.


• Work closely with the OGS Crisis Operations Manager to ensure operational coordination and effective delivery of incident management across critical events.


• Provide thought leadership on how to maximize the value that the CM program delivers to the firm; what can be improved, what is missing that can be added.


• Oversee the New York armed guarding team to ensure appropriate staffing levels, standard operating procedures, and emergency protocols to ensure a prompt and effective response to security and/or safety incidents in compliance with the law.


• Serve as the vendor relationship owner (VRO) for hostile surveillance and K9 services provided to OGS to ensure the vendor is meeting expectations with regards to performance.

• Provide proactive leadership and analysis on emerging security issues and prepare and present reports on security trends/ concerns to OGS and GS senior leadership as required.


• Assist OGS, HCM and Legal with any employee related issues and/or investigations.


• Develop and deliver trainings that align with OGS' safety and security program and related initiatives.


• Maintain and leverage relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement, intelligence and other related government agencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a proven ability to operate under stress in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards.
  
  
  • Candidate must have sound judgement and decision making abilities with proven leadership and team building skills.
  
  
  • Candidate must have a broad understanding of the national and global threat environment and experience providing written and verbal intelligence briefs to key senior stakeholders.
  
  
  • Candididate must have excellent interpersonal skills to develop credible relationships with internal and external partners.
  
  
  • Candidate must have minimum 15 years of former law enforcement experience.
  
  
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  
  
  • Bachelor's Degree
