Summary:

The Manager, US Security is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of all Ferring staff, visitors, and assets and managing all security related programs within the US portfolio including, but not limited to, physical security, crisis management, supply chain security, awareness and training, and investigations.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the US Security program to ensure the security and safety of all Ferring employees (on location and remote), visitors, and assets and ensures compliance with all security related laws and regulations at the federal, state and local levels.

  • Project management - Maintenance and updating of internal website, including creation of awareness materials and directly support the Associate Director, Site Services with ongoing and new projects both in security and site services as required.

  • Intelligence monitoring and reporting - Manage intelligence monitoring, ensure proper notification to senior management as well as at risk travelers prior to or during events.

  • Security Awareness and Training - Responsible for the development of awareness initiatives and to support the Associate Director in promoting security awareness throughout the business.

  • Crisis management - Lead coordination of response to crisis events, planning crisis training and maintaining related documentation, including providing guidance to the Associate Director and relevant crisis management teams as required.

  • Investigations - Lead security related investigations providing recommendations and results to the Associate Director, Site Services and necessary individuals.

  • Site Services - Support management of the Office Services department as and if needed.

  • Executive protection and event security - Lead executive protection and event security planning and execution as required, including off site locations both in the US and internationally, providing guidance to the Associate Director, Site Services as needed.

  • Supply Chain Security - Responsible for ensuring security of Ferring products and assets throughout the US supply chain and compliance with the C-TPAT program.

  • Oversee contracted security services and security operations - Supervise the day-to-day security operations including the contracted security team, escalating issues to the Associate Director, Site Services.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing staff.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate security or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in the core areas of physical security, crisis management, investigations and project management required.

  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required.

  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and support both site and remote staff.

  • Proficiency in MS Office products required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).

  • Executive protection experience a plus.

  • Experience with SendWordNow a plus.

  • Relevant Professional certifications a plus (CPP, PSP, CBCP, PMP & CEM).

  • C-TPAT experience preferred.
