As Maverik’s Learning Experience Program Specialist you will manage the learning and development programs end-to-end with a focus on increasing efficiency, while strengthening employee knowledge and abilities. Responsibilities include overseeing and the delivery of employee instruction including enrollment, scheduling and preparation of instructional material aids and manuals. Support internal communications to share progress on learning and development initiatives and evaluate program effectiveness.

What You’ll do as a Learning Experience Program Specialist:
Manage learning development programs end-to-end with a focus on increasing efficiency while strengthening employee knowledge and abilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance Maverik’s learning toolbox by contributing to design and development of new training programs
Translate program needs into an actionable plan that is scalable and balances quality of learning experience, available capabilities, and operational costs
Deliver and oversee employee instruction including, enrollment, scheduling and preparation of instructional material aids and manuals, and facilitate instructor-led and web-based training
Proactively anticipate and mitigate challenges within company training programs before they arise
Support internal communications to share progress on the learning and development initiatives, creating strategies to drive their use
Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, recommending content edits to ensure delivery of learning objectives
Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development, sharing ideas to increase learner engagement and effectively deliver key learning objectives
Occasional weekend /evening work required

You’ll be a Great Fit if You Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
5 + years demonstrated training success
Understanding of LMS systems required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
Skills in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision making
A track record of leveraging others appropriately & overcoming unexpected obstacles during execution while utilizing appropriate metrics to measure progress
Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
