Edelman is looking to hire an Account Executive for our Influencer division to partner with our world class Brand team in the award-winning Seattle office and work with clients in the food & beverage and retail spaces.

Ideal candidates will have a passion and knowledge of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, and the talent management space. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to manage and develop relationships across the social influencer landscape and will assist in the development of campaigns that fit within larger 360-degree integrated campaigns across a portfolio of clients.

Some of the responsibilities for this role


    • Source, build and maintain our proprietary influencer network of bloggers/vloggers, advocates and influencers with a track record of doing this well;

    • Build strong relationships with clients and operate as one of the day-to-day client contacts;

    • Help to manage influencer programs, including organizing influencer paperwork, helping the team manage deadlines, executing basic reporting etc.;

    • Bring industry best practices forward as an architect of an evolving area as well as a gatherer from our other markets across our network;

    • Develop KPIs and benchmarks to measure and maximize influencer impact;

    • Distill actionable insights from the influencer landscape for our brands and work with our analytics team to measure the impact of influencer programming and deliver client reports;

    • Cultivate and demonstrate an interest and expertise of trends and best practices for branded content in the digital space;

    • Exhibit effective project management working closely with account teams and keep them abreast of timelines and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

    • At least one year of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including influencer relations, advertising, public relations, media or publishing.

Preferred Qualifications


    • The ideal candidate already has favorite influencers across social media platforms and bring a personal digital footprint that reflects this understanding and an interest in pursuing a career in digital media;

    • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university;

    • Strong research, writing and editing skills and the ability to develop media and influencer contacts/relationships;

    • Fundamental understanding of the role social, influencers and digital play in the marketing campaign;

    • Good interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work effectively with a variety of account service staff within a specific set of accounts;

    • Proven organizational skills, knows when to elevate challenges quickly and has an entrepreneurial spirit;

    • Be proactive and highly motivated; demonstrating the ability and desire to work independently and confidently, but also as part of a team;

    • Flexible and agile and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines.
