We are currently seeking a Network Administrator - Princeton, NJ to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

This Network Administrator will help plan, design, implement and maintain networked systems, including configurations, supporting / troubleshooting network problems andcoordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. They will conduct feasibility studies on strategicand tactical plans, design of digital / analog networks, and evaluation of network services / technology for current and future networkdevelopment. This position will also performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN / WAN communications, network nodes, switches and various transmission systems.

Additional Role Responsibilities:

* Provides second and third level support on standard systems, investigating, analyzing, and resolving problems on selected network components
* Evaluates, designs, analyzes and maintains LAN/ WAN for new and existing sites
* Installs, configures, optimizes and maintains routers and layer 2 and 3 switches along with other networking equipment
* Makes recommendations on development of innovative and cost effective solutions to problems of clients
* Monitors and evaluates network systems tracking performance and problems recommending and implementing solutions and improvements
* Develops updates and audits network documentation
* Identifies, diagnoses and resolves more complex problems affecting network performance
* Schedules and coordinates installation and maintenance of standard software/hardware on the network and ensures compatibility of all communications and computer hardware /software

**Please Note - This position will require to be local and onsite to support the client's facility in (INSERT LOCATION). Flexibility and accessibility to be able to easily go onsite as needed to support standard cabling and other "Smart Hands" onsite services and projects, as well as per the client's needs and expectations, will be a requirement.

Required Qualifications:

* 4+ years of networkperformance, networkadministration, andtroubleshooting techniques experience
* 4+ years of networkrelated hardware and software(including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs,Firewalls, etc.)

Desired Skills:

* Solid understanding of securityissues and implications tonetwork solutions

* Knowledge of Juniper Mist Wireless

* Knowledge of ITIL Framework

* Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education andwork experience

* Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience
