Job Description

The Raleigh, NC office of Dewberry is seeking a Civil Engineer who is interested in wireless facility design field. Our growing, fast-paced multi-disciplined telecommunications engineering department seeks a client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and aggressive engineer looking to expand or his/her technical & project management skills. Individuals must possess a BS in engineering and 2-5 years of experience in civil/structural/electrical engineering or related engineering field. Job entails conducting site visits around North Carolina and surrounding states, preparing wireless facility designs with the team, coordinating all design aspects with other departments, tracking the progress of projects/budgets, and construction control and inspection and includes direct client interface. Projects will be extremely diverse in type and scale from site civil work on tower sites to data room designs in large scale facilities & sporting venues. As such we are looking for candidates with diverse engineering backgrounds that are able to employ areas of technical strength while also growing their skill set in other technical disciplines and management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required.

Responsibilities

Assigns tasks to and coordinates with technicians or administrative staff
• Conducting site visits around New England


• Preparing wireless facility designs with the team


• Coordinating all design aspects with other departments, tracking the progress of projects/budgets, and construction control and inspection and includes direct client interface.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• BS in Civil Engineering is Required


• 2-5 years of experience in civil/structural/electrical or related engineering field.


• F.E. preferred


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work in a team environment

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
